Your body is not a simple machine, as the “experts” believe. It is far more complex than they can ever imagine. It works in this wise way: it takes the nutrients you supply it and ferries them to the parts that need them. If you are feeding it correctly, it will manufacture most of the substances it lacks from the elements it extracts from your food. Your body has its own atomic reactors that break down the food into its primary elements and use these to build the nutrients you need. Vitamins and supplements are only required if your diet is deficient. Due to mineral depletion in the soil, we may have to resort to drastic measures to ensure that we take in sufficient nutrients, including sponsoring and working on special farms to grow organic food for us.
- If you eat correctly, the chances of you suffering with osteoporosis, obesity, diabetes, anorexia, heart disease, circulatory maladies, dental problems, nervous ailments, stress, cancer and many other disorders are profoundly reduced … and your children will be just as healthy if you feed them the correct foods.

Your blood only thickens when you are dehydrated, so drink enough pure, clean water.
- One consideration that you must take into account is the very salient fact that our ancestors managed to survive for the past few million years without our “modern, healthy” diet. If their diet was deficient, following generations should have suffered degeneration and mankind should have died out. The fact that we are still around after all this time must bear testimony to the level of health they enjoyed. They could not have had our ever-increasing levels of heart and circulatory diseases, cancers and other ailments. Facial narrowing, which causes tooth crowding, is a brand new condition, as are circulatory diseases and osteoporosis, this last primarily caused by estrogen, used in birth control pills and injections.
- Something is definitely wrong with the way we are living, and while pollution may have to shoulder some of the blame, our diet has changed so radically over the past century, and strange and new, incurable diseases, which have no seeming causes, have arisen. The “AIDS experts” still have not been able to isolate the “virus” that cause HIV or AIDS – and no doctor can promise you a cure for diabetes! More people die of cancer than modern medicine can cure: you have a less than a one-in-four chance of “surviving” cancer and as low as 1 in 100 with certain types, despite modern drugs and treatments. Cancer, although not contagious, and despite optimistic predictions of a cure before the end of the 1980s, is “spreading” faster than we have the ability to cope with it. Remember also that no doctor or pharmaceutical company will be foolish enough to give you a 100%-money-back-if-it-doesn’t-work guarantee on their medications or procedures!

5 Steps to Healthy Eating
1. Eat Carbs! With all the bad publicity that carbohydrates get, I am amazed when I hear people say they don’t eat carbs. I ask them if they have eaten any fruits or vegetables and they say yes. Most people don’t realize that fruits and vegetables are carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are especially healthy for you and keep your body fit. No, don’t overload your plate with strawberries, bananas, mangoes and grapes. You could eat a kiwi or papaya after breakfast or lunch and grapes or mango after dinner. Write it down in your schedule: eat some carbohydrates and be proud of yourself. Just stay away from the “bad” ones, like cakes and cookies.
2. Don’t skip your meals! It doesn’t matter if it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner, always have your meals and don’t skip them. Your body gets used to the meals and you should follow along. You should eat 5-6 small meals per day instead of 3 meals, Two of the meals can be a snack mid morning and mid afternoon. Good snacks would be an apple or nuts.
3. Say no to junk. Avoid eating your regular junk food which naturally consists of: potato chips, sugary food, coca-cola (fizzy drink), etc. Try eating a bowl of salad instead, or eating prawns instead of crisps. Eat a carrot or piece of celery instead. And for heavens sake, drink water instead of coke! Water and milk help keep you fit. Carbonated drinks leach calcium from the bones and cause osteoporosis, so stay away from them.
4.Visit your Nutritionist. Always useful. He can snap his fingers, get some tablets for you and even make you a food schedule to eat and drink. Follow it very carefully. A good nutritionist can analyze your diet and make some good recommendations.
5. Wherever you go, have a snack with you i.e. a pack of peanuts. They are very useful and can be carried around long journeys. Or maybe eat a banana on the way out. No, it won’t look lame. It will be helping you with your body and with your fitness. Don’t avoid this step.

The 10 most Important Secrets To Staying Young
As you sit in the hospital waiting room, waiting for the baby to be born, you think back to the day when you had your first child. Now, here you are, looking forward to your first great-grand child. It’s amazing how time flies by, and looking back can leave you feeling old! But just because you’ve got several decades behind you doesn’t mean you have to feel old. Here’s how to stay young in mind and spirit.
1. Keep age in perspective. Never think of age as being anything but just a number. There are some things in life we have no control over, such as when we were born. Age is no more than a circumstantial detail, like the color of your eyes, or the names of your parents; it does not define who you are. There are other things that do–those things we do have control over, such as how we think and what we do.
Live and enjoy each day. There is always something positive or something to look forward to each day. Enjoy the sun shining on your plants, or movies you are going to see. Look forward to reading a good book, or meeting with friends for lunch. If you feel lonely, go to the library. It is a great place to meet and talk to people who have a similar interest. Surround yourself with people, even if you might never see them again. You can do this at a supermarket, or even a department store or coffee shop.
2. Don’t waste your time thinking that you’re too old to do this or that. As long as you have your health, you can do just about anything you find an interest in doing. If you have never used a computer, buy one! Learn how to use it. If you find it interesting enough, learn how they work and how to fix problems or to program them! You will find you have brought the whole world into your room, and maybe some knowledge that will save you from spending money and make you feel younger. Just learn new things that you haven’t learned before, don’t worry if it’s too “young,” nothing is.
Take care of your body. Take vitamins and eat healthy. Exercise at either a gym or at home. Dance to the music on a CD, as moving your body is great exercise. Get a full physical and visit your dentist at least once a year.
3. Don’t look back. Don’t worry about what happened in the past. Live just for today. The one thing that no one can change is the past. What has been is over and done with. The future has not yet come, so all we have is today. So enjoy today, let the past go, and plan for the future.
4. Keep your mind alert. Do crossword puzzles, learn a new language, or take up a hobby you were always too busy for. Exercise an Open mind. Become a volunteer editor on a website like wikiHow or Wikipedia. By volunteering time to a wiki you will meet other contributors online and keep your writing ability sharp, while helping others receive free knowledge.
Keep up with the news. By doing this, you always will be able to converse with most people. Be up to date on what is new in politics, fashion, and/or in computers. Learn about the new methods of treatments and the new health treatments available so you can advise your family members, who might need the information.
5. Find ways to interact. Even with no close friends or family around, there are many opportunities to talk to new people. Strike up a conversation with people you meet in the supermarket. Greet people you pass on the street, and ask them how they’re doing. You’ll be surprised at how refreshed offering a kind word to a stranger will make you feel.
6. Be optimistic. Try to avoid thinking negative thoughts as it will get you no place except sadness. For example, trying to figure out why a mate died and left you alone will only bring tears to your eyes. Instead, remember all the wonderful years you shared, and how you both brought such wonderful children into this world. Go out with a smile on your face, and enjoy the rest of your life as best as you can. There may even be a new mate on the horizon. You never know!
7. Do something different every day. The local newspapers usually have a weekly schedule of activities. Find one that you would enjoy and go for it! Perhaps the museum or a flower show might tickle your fancy this week.
8. Join a group, club, or volunteer at a library or senior center. Take dancing lessons. Ballroom dancing is back, and just think of how great you would feel dancing the Cha Cha once again, as you did in your youth. Go to bingo night at your local community center. Meet with like-minded people, and help those less fortunate than yourself. Most of all, have fun doing it.
9. Continue to do things you used to do – biking, camping, swimming, dancing, or canoeing. You can still do them!

You’re exercising and drinking water now its time to work on your diet. Eating healthy food is the best way to feel healthy. Here are some things to keep in mind to help you eat healthy food.
1. When eating a healthy diet, it is most important to eat 2-3 servings of fruit and vegetables per day. Fruits and vegetables are loaded with nutrients to help your body keep up with your exercise routine.
2. Go organic! The best wayto eat healthy food is to eat foood that is organic. Try eating organic foods that are grown without herbicides and nasty pesticides.
3. When shopping try staying on the outer aisles. Stay away from over processed and persevered foods like snack cakes or frozen dinners. Eating healthy foods usually cannot be accomplished by going down the snack aisle!
4. If you can’t pronounce the ingredients then you shouldn’t eat it! Today’s foods are deprived of nutrients and loaded with preservatives, so when you see things like methylchoroisothiazolinone, do your body a favor put it back on the shelf. In other words, when you eat healthy foods, it should be ones that you can pronounce.
5. Decrease your intake of foods high in sugar and salt. Don’t drink soda which contains things high fructose corn syrup. Instead eat healthy foods such as raw fruits and nuts like almonds and pecans.

Buying all natural foods and using cooking techniques designed to preserve nutrient integrity is a great start to eating healthy. Here is another DIY video since you guys like this type of video ^.^ I love it too because I just film what I usually do on days of the week. So this beauty remedy is one of my most sworn by remedies.
My skin is definitely not perfect (I’m a normal girl right?) and stress, climate, pollution etc can all take impact on my skin. Ps. yes i still have dark circles. They are immense.
You guys have heard me talk about my love for ‘Natural Yogurt’ for over 2 years now. It is nothing new. It works great among side with other ingredients like lemon, strawberries, oatmeal etc but also works amazing on its own too. I swear by home remedies. They are fun & effective.
Natural yogurt contains lactic acid and beneficial enzymes that helps to you’re your skin hydrated and radiant. It softens the skin, brightens a dull complexion and helps to remove redness in the face. It cleanses the skin and treats blemishes giving you a clear & smooth complexion. Just like how it can cleanse the skin- it cleanses the hair and conditions it for silky smooth hair. Natural yogurt can also treat the scalp if you have dandruff problems. You can even use it on your body because it solves skin problems such as irritations, itchiness and eczema.
You can find Natural Yogurt in your local supermarket (not processed flavoured ones lol).
A large tub costs 99p. When I buy one tub- I apply it as a facial every night and it lasts me at least for a good week! So affordable!! You never need to splash out $$$ on expensive masks when you can make beauty treatments in your own kitchen.
If you apply the yogurt mask every night for 7 days, you will feel as if your skin just drunk gallons of water because it will feel extremely hydrated. The texture should be smoother. Your skin should look a lot brighter too. This remedy has made me feel more confident in going out without makeup on ^^.
If you have coloured hair like myself, straighten/curl your hair often, use hairsprays/clays; treat your hair from time to time. Another great hair remedy is using coconut milk. It works wonders too. I am more low maintanence on the hair so I only apply once a week. Remember- hair masks can help but only to a certain extent. If you have split ends- trim them before they split further.
Yogurt is a dairy product so if you are allergic to dairy; do not try this.
It takes guts for makeup gurus to put themselves bareface without makeup out in the scary web infront of thousands of people. People are bound to judge how I look without my makeup/mask. *shrugs* I’m comfortable in my own skin =). It’s all that matters ^^. Makeup doesn’t make me beautiful. Confidence does. I am aware of my flaws and I don’t feel need to conceal them.
